How HERCode Works

HERCode is a self-development and emotional wellbeing app. It helps users reflect on situations, understand communication, track boundaries, explore relationship patterns, and review personal growth over time.

1. Information You Choose to Add

HERCode works with information you choose to enter, such as:

  • reflections;
  • mood or emotion ratings;
  • boundary logs;
  • relationship profiles;
  • communication examples;
  • quiz answers; and
  • saved insights.

You decide what to record. Avoid adding another person’s private or sensitive information unless you have a lawful and appropriate reason to do so.

2. How Insights Are Created

HERCode uses automated systems and AI-powered features to organize and interpret information you choose to enter.

Depending on the feature, processing may take place through HERCode's cloud infrastructure and an external AI/model provider. The Privacy Policy explains how information is processed and shared when these features are used.

Automated systems may identify possible emotional themes, communication patterns, relationship context, boundary categories, or changes across multiple entries.

Automated output can be wrong or incomplete and should be treated as a reflection tool rather than objective fact.

3. Evidence and Patterns

HERCode aims to distinguish between:

  • one early observation;
  • an emerging theme;
  • a recurring pattern; and
  • a change supported by entries recorded over time.

Not every output will be correct. A pattern shown by HERCode is an educational observation, not a diagnosis or a proven fact about you or another person.

4. Relationships and Boundaries

Relationship Profiles organize entries that you explicitly connect to a person or relationship.

Boundary Trends summarize the boundaries you choose to log. They do not measure another person’s character, intentions, or mental health.

Relationship and boundary insights should be treated as prompts for reflection, not objective judgments.

5. Weekly and Monthly Summaries

Weekly Summaries and Monthly Reports use eligible entries recorded during the relevant period.

When there is not enough history, HERCode should show that it is still building a baseline instead of claiming a confirmed trend.

Reports are educational summaries and may not capture the full context of your experiences.

6. Trends and Scores

HERCode should use actual user-entered ratings and stored events when displaying trends.

Trend screens may show:

  • reflection ratings over time;
  • confidence ratings recorded in boundary logs; and
  • the distribution of boundary logs across relationship areas.

These displays are not clinical assessments or scientifically validated psychological scores.

7. Storage and Synchronization

HERCode uses Firebase Authentication for accounts and Cloud Firestore to store and synchronize supported account information and app entries.

Firebase Storage may be used when supported upload features are enabled.

Limited state or preferences may also be stored locally on the device.

AI-powered features may use cloud processing as explained in the Privacy Policy.

8. Your Choices

You can choose:

  • what information to record;
  • which relationship to connect to an entry;
  • whether to save an insight;
  • whether to use free or Premium features;
  • whether to delete individual supported entries; and
  • whether to request account deletion.

The current in-app data export is limited. You may contact hello@hercode.ai for broader privacy access or portability requests.

9. What HERCode Is Not

HERCode is not therapy, counseling, medical care, psychological treatment, diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, or crisis support.

HERCode does not know the full circumstances of your life or another person’s intentions.

You remain responsible for decisions and actions you take.

10. Emergencies and Professional Support

HERCode is not monitored for emergencies.

If you are in immediate danger or experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide, abuse, violence, or another emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified crisis-support provider immediately.

For medical or mental-health concerns, contact a qualified professional.
